Hi dudes, I hope everyone is doing good. Today, I am going to interact with those who have already completed their graduation or post-graduation. Qualification-wise, your percentages may be good, but even after 2–3 years, you are not fully settled, or you might be trying for a government job according to Indian culture.

In the deep-rooted Indian culture, jobs have become a tradition rather than a need. However, central or state government recruitments are very rare now. Departments are merging, reducing the number of posts, and competition is extremely high. It’s not just talent that matters; tense moments in exams may lead to mistakes. So even a capable mind can be filtered out. This makes it highly uncertain.

So, you have two options: either take a job (private or MNCs, salary or commission-based) or start a business (family-based or your own). In jobs, salary provides a fixed minimum, while commission can vary with performance. In business, you can either invest heavily and capture the market or start from scratch with minimal investment and gradually expand.

Holistically, starting small — small company, small business investment, minimal skill requirement, and low expectations — reduces risk. Large investments or high-level corporate jobs require mastery, higher skill, and come with higher risk.

My suggestion: don’t rush for the final result. Even if age grows but experience remains minimal, you are still at the beginner stage. Don’t fake certificates or invest in unfamiliar businesses without knowledge. Start small, learn the science of the business, or join a small company to gain freedom, respect, and learning.

Examples: In business, start a small sweet stall with minimal investment (₹1,000–2,000), sell near schools or public areas, reinvest profits gradually. In jobs, take a small role in a small company, earn respect, and gain hands-on experience. The key is high vision with small, calculated beginnings.

Be the biggest fish in the smallest pond — gain respect, freedom, and learning. Avoid being the smallest fish in the biggest pond — risk, mental stress, and limited growth.
